Job Description:
CoMotion looking to hire a full time / or a part time trade show exhibit shop carpenters with previous experience. We require strong background in trade show, retail display, architectural millwork fabrication and installation.
Responsibilities: Build and finish custom exhibits, fixtures to required specifications from cad drawings and sometimes through 3D renderings as required. Produce quality finished work using a variety of material within clearly defined expected deadlines.
Qualifications:
Carpentry expertise in exhibit, retail displays and commercial millwork, inclusive of skilled carpentry techniques using saws, routers, pneumatic nails and staple guns, gluing and lamination as well as various power and hand held tools.
Able to read and understand CAD drawings and ensure quality build standards and specifications.
Effectively works as part of a team interfacing with all levels of staff and clients.
Works well in fast pace environment.
Adheres to company safety guidelines.
Flexibility to work occasionally weekends and overtime during hectic busy times with production deadlines and occasional travel to off site installs.
