Things to consider when exhibiting at a trade show
1)- Objectives:
Building a memorable exhibition stand, having wonderful and engaging experiences.
Demonstrate different capabilities of your business
Create an understanding of your company, products and services
Engage future employees and promote industry opportunities
2)- Target Audience:
Who are we trying to reach ? by category or product range if necessary
What should they know about us?
3)- Brand Definition:
Brand keywords – To facilitate and inspire communications that will present clear and consistent identity
Brand – your unique selling proposition, encompassing all collateral acting as brand ambassadors in representing your brand and overall image. Care should be taken at all times to ensure brand unity and integrity stays intact
4)- Competition:
Their unique selling proposition, and whether they are participating at this event
5)- Message:
What is the message you want to convey, and how is it leading towards your goal.
6)- Design & Experience Objectives:
Concept to come up with. Previous participation’s stand concept for reference etc.
7)- IMC Services Required:
Integrated Marketing Services: Promotional methods etc.
8)- Marketing Materials:
Brochures, gifts, presentations etc.
9)- Technical Information:
Floor plans, Events organizer, official contractor, corporate colors, products/ services to be displayed, reception requirements, storage requirements, back office requirements, AV requirements, meeting discussion requirements, other requirements like what should be the maximum height of the booth referring to exhibitor manual, any other special requirements.
10)- Other Info:
Number of shows / events you participate per year, local overseas, name of show/ event, modular or one time usage.
